For Trevor

When the folks over at The Trevor Project asked me to host the TrevorLIVE 2017 New York Facebook Live Stream this year, I was truly honored. The annual gala helps raise hundreds of thousands (often millions) of dollars for an organization near to my heart.

Simply put, The Trevor Project is a national 24-hour, toll free confidential suicide hotline for LGBTQ youth. They are saving lives every single day.

Founded in 1998 by the creators of the Academy Award®-winning short film TREVOR, The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13-24.

The Trevor Project offers accredited life-saving, life-affirming programs and services to LGBTQ youth that create safe, accepting and inclusive environments over the phone, online and through text.

If you are a young person in crisis, feeling suicidal, or in need of a safe and judgment-free place to talk, call the Trevor Lifeline now at 866-488-7386If you are thinking about suicide, you deserve immediate support.
